Gonzaga ESL Community Outreach provides free English classes to adults in Spokane, WA.

Established in 2012, it has grown over the years to offer multiple leveled classes. These classes are taught by students in the TESOL program at Gonzaga University.

Three Levels: A Class for Everyone!
G.E.C.O. is free! There is no registration or sign-up needed.
No papers or identification are required.

Practice English skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, and pronunciation!
Plus: Conversational English about American culture and life in Spokane.

How do i register for class?
Our class does not have registration. You can come to any class. We would love if you come to class every week.
How do i know what level i am?
The first class you attend we will talk with you and you will complete a short form. We will help decide the best class for you.
i can't come every Saturday, can i still come to class?
Yes! Come to class if you can but you don't have to come.
are there tests, homework, or a textbook?
There are no tests, homework or textbooks. Sometimes teachers will give out papers. We provide notebooks and pencils for you to take notes.
what is the fee? how much does the class cost?
It's free! There is no fee, no cost.
